Complete SSI, often referred to as SHTML, support is included free of charge with all of our hosting plans.

SSI, a relatively old technology, allows you to dynamically insert into a web page the contents of another file, the current date, the date that the current web page was modified, etc. using simple extensions to HTML. We support all SSI commands including exec (often disabled by competing services) which allows you to insert script output into a web page, useful for adding counters and other third part scripts to your website.

At LFC, we make SSI easy. To enable it on a web page, simply rename that file to filename.shtml, as opposed to the usual filename.htm or filename.html, and use the SSI extensions for which many free Internet tutorials are available.
