Strict Anti-Spam and Anti-Adult Content Policy
SPAM (unsolicited e-mail) is an escalating problem on the Internet today, bogging down networks and hindering the ability of many web hosts to provide fast, reliable service to their clients.
In order to provide the best possible service to our valued business clients, LFC Hosting has a very strict anti-spam policy. We actively monitor our systems for SPAM and have a closed relay e-mail server to prevent those who are not associated with LFC in any way (this does not include the clients of our resellers) from using our mail server to send e-mail. Many hosts have recently been criticized for having a strict anti-spam policy, but not enforcing it. At LFC, we have staff dedicated to enforcing our SPAM policy as we concentrate on providing superior service to legitimate businesses. In accordance with this policy we also offer advanced SPAM filtering, virtually eliminating SPAM, a valuable feature scarcely available with competing services.
Note that we do support opt-in (subscription list style) e-mailing following the acceptable standards on the Internet today, and even provide Unlimited Mailing Lists and state-of-the-art Mailing List Administration to facilitate this. Moreover, with LFC, clients sending opt-in mail that is mistaken for SPAM do not have to worry about being disabled immediately. We strive to work closely with our clients and will therefore first contact you in this event and even aid you in improving your practices to ensure that this does not happen again.
Finally, at LFC, we specialize in providing and supporting the tools to accelerate small to medium-sized businesses. In keeping with this mandate, we strictly prohibit the hosting of adult content on our services. This ensures optimal reliability, website load times, stability, and security for our business customers by eliminating the enormous bandwidth and server resources used by adult sites, as well as prevents your business from being associated with these sites.
We periodically scan our entire network for adult content, and promptly remove any content that is found.
Many competing services that advertise an anti-adult content policy simply operate a separate division of their company, typically under a different brand name to provide adult hosting services, effectively hosting these sites on the same network as your site. We do not support this practice.
