Mailing Lists
All of our hosting plans include support for Unlimited fully functional e-mail lists free of charge. A mailing list is simply a list of addresses to which the same information is being sent. If you were a magazine publisher, you would have a list of the mailing addresses of all the subscribers to the magazine. In the case of an electronic mailing list, we use a list of email addresses from people interested in hearing about or discussing a given topic.
Two example uses of mailing lists would be:- Newsletters to periodically inform your customers, consumers/prospects, associates and partners of advancements, developments and marketing notices about your business and allow your subscribers to independently maintain/remove/change their subscription to the newsletter.
- An online collaboration tool much like a newsgroup, offering more organization than e-mail where all list subscribers e-mail the list to have their message distributed to all other subscribers. Submissions are automatically consolidated and sent out in period digests, among other collaboration features useful for development, project management, etc.
Note: Mailing List Administration is for the purpose of opt-in-based bulk e-mail marketing (subscription list, where subscribers have requested to be on the list). It is one of the most effective methods of marketing your products online. According to our strict Anti-Spam policy, we practice industry standard double opt-in, where all new subscribers to a mailing list must authorize (an automatic process) the addition of their e-mail address.
Nearly all competing services only support mailing lists with their high cost plans, requiring you to buy in to another service to take advantage of this powerful marketing tool. Furthermore, it is typical to limit the number of subscribers you can have on a single list to a low number (such as 250), as well as the number of mailing lists and amount of space that your mailing list archives can occupy. At LFC, we do not place such restrictions on the extent to which you can promote your website, and the disk space occupied by your mailing list archives is limited only by the total disk space included with your account. After all, we understand that your success is our livelihood.
With LFC Hosting, you have the ability to add, remove, and completely manage your subscription lists (including integrating your website with your mailing list to automate the addition and removal of members and much more) and send bulk e-mail announcements and advertisements to your entire list free-of-charge, all through an easy-to-use web-based administration system included in your account control panel. The size, frequency, and reach of the messages you send are only limited by the bandwidth included with your account.
